"This is a charming and peaceful eco hotel in the forest near San Rafeal with great, healthy food."

I loved the fresh healthy food and natural surroundings. The staff were helpful and interesting to talk to.

It would have been nice to have screens or glass on the windows to prevent bugs from getting in. The room had a nice garden view but kept the blinds closed most of the time.

The hotel is in the middle of nature, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature's sounds.

The location. It is in the middle of nowhere and without Google Maps it's impossible to get there. Besides, there is no visible sign at the entrance (the hotel is literally at the end of the road). But it is definitely worth it.

Cannot recommend this place more highly!! We only had 2 days here and wished we could stay longer. It is absolutely beautiful here. So much wildlife we saw all kinds of birds, butterflies, lizards, monkeys, etc. The river is just amazing and you can get to many areas very easily. The hosts are so wonderful and the food is amazing! You can go to town if you want to but I highly recommend just hanging out here and immersing yourself in the surroundings. 10/10 stars and I hope to come back soon!!

Nothing not to like but it’s worth noting that if you have any mobility issues this may not be the spot for you. Its a trek from the road just to get in to the property. But it’s worth it for the experience you receive!! Just something to keep in mind.

"great spot to be in nature"

out in the middle of nowhere. full of nature! great local creeks where you can dip your toes or swim. excellent food. lots of walking and climbing up stairs… it is on the side of a mountain and still a work in progress. comfortable bed and the wifi was fine.

no hot water, but Jesse says it’s being installed next week. the roads nearby are ‘difficult’. like I said, it’s in the middle of nowhere. twenty-five minutes to San Rafael.
