Beautiful setting in the tropical forest

The staff (especially the receptionist) is extremely friendly and welcoming. We had the chance to come early and keep enjoying the amazing property for a few hours after checking out. We loved the views of the jungle and the sea and the delicious breakfast. The gym is extremely well equipped.

Only for those who like to sleep in: as you only have curtains around your pod, you'd probably hear some noises from the breakfast in the morning - at least in coco3. As we always wake up early, it didn't bother us.

Location is amazing, the pods are well equipped, had a nice tub as well, and gym!

I think the staff should be more opened to feedback, my breakfast was prepared incorrectly and I made them respectfully aware and the chef began ranting and venting because of his own mistake so yeah please do better with such things!

What can we say! What a breath taking amazing one of a kind stay! We had coco 1 and it was just like something out of a movie. We’ve glamped a fair bit in the past but this is completely different! The cocos are constructed like a 5* hotel room, super comfy and luxurious. The staff are wonderful. Facilities are stripped back so there is an excellent breakfast but you’ll need to go out for dinner- the restaurant at the bottom of the hill is top notch! We even had a bath overlooking the sunset! The location is a 10 min drive from all of the best beaches in the area. Honestly don’t think twice- book this you won’t regret it! X

The location was absolutely charming, with wonderful view and tropical garden around. There are only 4 coco pods to live in which makes this stay very private. The buildings themselves are the most unique concept I have ever seen in the hotel industry. You practically sleep and live outside day and night. There were no moskitoes, so we did not complain.

Unfortunately, even if we had SUV car, we could not reach the place. The last 2 km of road is steep and stony, so if you plan to visit this place, rent 4WD car as they write on internet. There is not exaggeration in it.

The most outstanding, notable bits about Art Villas, was that although it has a luxurious feel, you feel right at home. We stayed in Coco 3, and were welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff members right away. We only stayed for one night, but could use the amenities well after checkout as well, which was great! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the coffee incredible. I’d say the property is just the right size, it is very quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves during our stay. You must listen to the sounds of the birds and other animals in the jungle in the AM, just outer worldly. You need 4x4! Don’t be worried about the drive up if you’ve got a rental that is All Wheel, but it is definitely necessary.

The only 2 things I wish ArtVillas had was a better stronger fan in the room. There is no AC. During the heat of the day, it is quite extreme. The only other thing, is that there is quite a lack of privacy. Keep in mind you are Glamping so be prepared to feel slightly exposed in your Coco as you will likely not be closing your curtains as it’s too hot and humid! Would stay again! The location and how cool the vibe is there. There staff are lovely and the breakfast was really good. Gym is well equipped and the pool area is beautiful. The road has had work done to improve it

The pool needs a couple more sun loungers. The rooms could do with a fan that moves a little quicker, it gets super hot at night! There isn't anywhere to sit in the pods at the top so the area where the trampoline is could so with being converted into a terrace.

The view you get from the pods & breakfast area is great especially when watching the sunset. The buffet breakfast was very tasty, and they rotated the cooked options so it wasn’t the same every day. Staff are very friendly and will help with whatever you need. There is a slide and the pool is nice & cool to swim in. Enjoyed the glamping experience in the jungle

Fortunately they do tell you before arrival but there’s no restaurant, so any food you want to have there after breakfast will have to be delivered or you have to buy some whilst out. We stayed in Coco Pod 3 and whilst we’re told you’re next to the eating area, you don’t realise how close you are till you arrive - less than a metre.
