"They cancelled my reservation a few hours before check-in"

I booked a room around 2 pm, got a confirmation. Around 4 pm I updated my check-In time, and they confirmed that too. Around 5 pm I turned off my phone and started cycling from Huelva to Palma (I travel by bicycle). At 7:45 pm, when approaching the town, I turned the phone on and got a text from them: "Unfortunately, due to a computer error, a room appeared as available when in fact it was not. We do not have availability for today." And this is how I ended up in a small town without other bookable accomodation, on a bicycle, less than two hours before sunset. Oh, and in that text they also asked me to "request cancellation" of my booking - to make it look as if it was me who decided to cancel, and to make sure I can't leave a review, I presume. Nope, did not do that, you deserve to know.
