Selva Verde Lodge

The hotel was just near the Tirimbina Reserva. The breakfast was fine.

The restaurant is way too expensive although was fine. The prices were super high for what they offer in the menu. We even found prices higher than in Europe which is insane! The room was without any taste. The photos didn't match what we had (no sofa in the room as seen on the photo). The hotel was big and it was difficult to localise areas. We didn't book the trail with the hotel, and did the excursion with another guide. We could cross the bridge but the door at the end was locked so we couldn't access the reserve. The hotel is too expensive for what it offers.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation!! This was the only 3* booking we had in our 2 week stay in Costa Rica, and it is the only one that would deserve a 5*. This place is fantastic. We regretted not spending 3 nights here.

Great room with river view and lots of space. Great breakfast

Schöne Lodge mit Pool und überdachten Wegen, damit man auch bei Regen immer trocken zum Zimmer, Frühstück etc. kommt. Auf dem Hotelgelände gibt es Wanderwege zum selbst erkunden, aber auch geführte Touren. Wir waren in der Region, um möglichst viele Frösche zu finden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Zimmer sind wirklich super sauber und die Pizzeria im Haus sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer wäre toll.

Our lodge had an incredible view overlooking the river, the hammocks are a great touch. We loved exploring the grounds and the suspension bridge. A gorgeous stop in the rainforest.

We would have appreciated a kids menu at the restaurant. We found options for them but a 3 year old was never going to finish a full adult portion.
