First and foremost, the people who work at San Vicente are so friendly and eager for you to enjoy your stay. Also, the location is gorgeous and secluded. I would love to come back one day to stay for an extended period of time.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful if it’s not cloudy and you can fully enjoy nature nearby.

The hike to the volcano is very tricky and you really need good shoes or gumboots because it can be very steep and muddy. The restaurant has very affordable prices but unfortunately we were a little bit disappointed

very secluded at the end of a road. it’s an amazing view, delicious breakfast, quiet rooms. stayed there our first night in Costa Rica. would have stayed more!

make sure you have a 4wd, the road to get there is mostly dirt for the last 20minutes but very worth it!
