Hotel Winoterra

The owner of the hotel and his mom were absolutely wonderful. They provided us with everything we asked for and more. Upon arrival, he offered us complimentary wine, chacha, coffee and snacks and spent a good hour chatting to us and getting to know us. The breakfast was plentiful and sooooooo delicious, I am still thinking about the marinated chicken :) I know they offer wine tastings, we did not have time for it, however if we did we would have definitely gone for it. He also organised our airport transfer within a reasonable price ,which was very convenient. I would say this is a really great family hotel and is really worth booking it.

We were offered a room on the ground floor right next to the reception. I think all other rooms were much nicer, with a nice view of the city, a lot of light and space. Our room was quite dark, since it had only a small window looking over the back of the house. And while it was perfectly fine for one night, I think if we were staying longer than that I would not have been so happy with staying there.

Nice room, nice roof top terrace, easy walk to the old city, excellent breakfast.

We booked to stay two different times at this property but the first stay did not happen because they informed us a week before we were to arrive that they had double booked the room and it would not be available for us. They offered us to stay at a nearby hotel but that hotel was lower rates on booking.com. We found a different hotel, but were not happy about having to make a last minute change.

Everything. Room has great lighting (warm!), good infrastructure, super comfortable balcony - very modern and clean.

My very first review here as I was really touched by the genuine and warm hospitality of the family-run Winoterra Hotel. The room was very nice, comfy and all new. Just a perfect location in the historical centre, close to everything but quiet too. The finest Georgian wine accompanied by local treats was generously offered to welcome me, a real bliss! The breakfast was something truly special, prepared with heart from all the freshest local ingredients, delicious, abundant and makes you feel so pampered! The airport transfer and showing me around Tbilisi, that was grand too! All in all, WOW! That was a perfect stay for me! Missing Winoterra, Tbilisi and looking forward to be back already! NB! I am not in any sort of online marketing, just supporting genuine hospitality.

The owners (Mr. Roman, his parents, and his sons) were extremely friendly and welcoming They did everything needed to make us comfortable. They value the human touch and relationships more than money and business. The location was great in quite district near city center. The breakfast was something to return for.
