Excellent location, nice food, comfortable and great rooms , beautiful and newly renovated spa and lounge zone, friendly hosting family and stuff!!! Stayed there for 2 weeks and never experienced any issues. A lot of returning guests and nice atmosphere.

Hotel "Florian" in Selva di Val Gardena is situated just in the walk distance to cabine lift to Saslong and underground train and cabine to Col Raiser and Seceda. Just heaven for all down-hill skiers. "Florian" has nice sunny rooms in the southern side of hotel, few nothern rooms have less light, but are cheaper. Served meal is excellent. Friendly owner and his staff. Good value for your money.

My wife and i have spent three wonderful nights here. The hosts and the staff were very nice and helpful. The host gave useful information to travel in Val Gardena. The breadfast was adequate. The dinner was fine and tasty. The host was so considerate to prepare chinese menu for the dinner!! Also, it was unexpected the host played accordion to make relaxing atmosphere during dinner. The location is good and reachable by bus. My wife and i were very impressed by the generous and warm hospitiality.

Good equipment for motorbike riders, with a nice big garage, and some basic tooling. Rooms were quite big, and with balcony, we loved that. The service was quite OK, but nobody ever explained us anything about the Sauna which we found the day before departure...

Our friends had organised a ski trip to the wonderful area of the Dolomites Superski and booked the Hotel Florian as the accomodatuon for the group. We had up-graded our room to a superior room but frakly the normal rooms on the first floor seemed adequately spacious and had identical furniture allbeit not the sofa and chairs. The en-suite was as new and modern. Disappointingly no tea or coffee making facilities exist and suprisingly, for a hotel, no shower gel or shampoo. The Wellness suite is small but chic. Ideal for the apres ski. The hotel has an a la carte menu but the standard menu offered as part of the room rate provides local dishes which were ok but nothing to write home about. This is a family run hotel and the children and toys can often be found in the public areas outside of school times. The selling point of the hotel is the proximity to the slopes; not quite ski in/ski out but not a hike.

Our second year: we came for quality - price and the flexibility of dates. We came back for the exceptional hospitality, family warmth, great food and excellent quality. We've been in other places in Val Gardena in the past; Hotel Florian will always be our place in the future!
