Garni Hotel Bel Vert

we stayed in room 38 and we had a lot of smoke from the wood-burning stove !! it was really bad even with the window closed..Since we like to sleep with the window open and love the fresh air ...It was not possible We dont smoke but I think this trip we smoked a lot of cigarettes😤

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. I thought it was perfect!

Before our trip, I asked Karoline so many questions about how to get there by public transportation and Gardena Mobile Card. Karoline was so prompt and friendly, responding to all my questions. Upon our arrival, Karoline advised us on all the nice trails that we should visit. She is amazing! We needed to pick up our rental car from Bolzano Airport and got stuck at the heavy traffic, we rang Karoline and she actually called the rental car company for us! Can’t thank her enough! The property is super clean, very well maintained and our room got beautiful view of the mountains. Hotel got a steam room and sauna room facing the mountain. We used it on the last day and really felt very relaxed. Breakfast is very good with good varieties.

As it is located half way on a steep hill, it can be quite tiring walking back after a long hiking day or with luggage. The good thing is , it is close to the Dantercëpies Cable Car Station. It will be great if there is a fridge in the room especially in summer.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room and view were fantastic, breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the edge-of-town location got us away from the crowds. Included in our stay were regional bus passes that made it fairly easy to get to area views and hiking. On our last night, we saw people eating dinner on the patio and wondered if this location serves evening meals as well. If we had known (we did not see it listed as a restaurant on Google Maps), we would have looked into having a dinner there as well, since breakfasts were so good.

Very minor, but it would be nice to have shampoo and conditioner available in the bathroom. Because most places provide that, I did not bring it on our trip. Also, the walk from town to the hotel was uphill--which was fine for us (we like to walk)--but people who are not in good physical shape might have trouble with that. I'm sure taxis are available.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was great.

Would like coffee and tea in the rooms.
