Aurora Husky Hut

Die 125 Huskys 😍 Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück war vielfältig. Die Atmosphäre war sehr beruhigend. Die Hütte war mit einer Trockentrenntoilette, kleiner Kochgelegenheit, einen Kamin und Doppelbett ausgestattet. Die holzbeheizte Sauna konnte man selbst einheizen und sich dort waschen.

Dass es keine Dusche gibt hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört.

Het was echt fantastisch. Het verblijf in de middle of nowhere in een klein schattig hutje. Het is allemaal heel basic (verwacht geen luxe verblijf) maar dat maakt het juist zo leuk. Geen beschikking tot een douche maar wel een echte finse houten sauna. Je bent omringd door bossen, ontzettend leuke en de meest lieve alaskan husky's die stuk voor stuk enorm knuffelig zijn. Het ontbijt in de ochtend was helemaal top en meer dan voldoende, en het personeel ontzettend aardig, vriendelijk en heel erg behulpzaam. Ook heb je de mogelijkheid hier om een sledetocht te maken met de husky's van de farm wat het dus extra leuk maakt. De gidsen/tour guides zijn wederom erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en deskundig. Je merkt dat hier alles met veel plezier en liefde gebeurt. Voor mij was het de highlight van mijn vakantie.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We loved being so close to the dogs and experiencing the beautiful nature all around us. The cozy cabin, the peaceful atmosphere, and the simplicity of the minimalist lifestyle made the whole experience feel very special and authentic. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you could really feel their passion for what they do. The husky tour was definitely a highlight of our trip – such an unforgettable experience! Everything about this place felt magical. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience nature, tranquility, and the unique bond with these wonderful dogs. Simply a dream!

Ruhige Lage mitten im Wald. Eigene Huskyfarm. Gutes Frühstück. Ein sehr einfaches aber gemütliches Häuschen. Wasser holen aus dem Fluss ist abenteuerlich.

Saunahaus wird nie über 40 grad warm egal wie lange man ihn aufheizt. Das Saunahöuschen müsste besser isoliert werden um die Wärme zu halten.

La comunicación con el propietario no fue muy fluida pero alcanzó para que puedan buscarme en la estación de autobuses mas cercana. La cabaña era cálida (-16 grados en el exterior y no se notaban). Hay carios caminos en los alrededores por los que puedes pasear durante la estadía.

Los huskies estaban amarrados y aunque cada uno tenia su propia casita se notaban amontonados entre sí. Las casitas lucian sucias y con manchas amarillas alrededor

Stayed 2 nights and it was cosy enough with fire, though had to keep adding logs during night but it does have a small Radiator too. It was approx -20/-25 overnight. We did sleep with couple layers on first night. The fairy lights around cabin and along pathways outside were very atmospheric. Nice stroll down to a frozen lake. Decent breakfasts - eggs, cheese, cold meat, tomatoes, breads, granola & yoghurt. Staff very helpful. Paid 10 euro to get lift to Ivalo bus station on day of departure. Taxi cost us 45 euro from airport, tho another couple only charged 30 euro! Loved the dogs, could hear them at times but ear plugs helpful. Please do interact with dogs when passing as they love the ear rubs and attention, super sociable!

The ‘dry’ toilet wasn’t as bad as it sounds but wouldn’t like it for too long. The utensils weren’t very clean but fine once I boiled water snd washed them myself. If you’re able, take extra paper or plastic travel cups as only small traditional bowls, spoon/ fork, small cup. Didn’t detract from our stay though. Really enjoyed the experience.

Útulná chata uprostřed nádherné přírody, chata je zařízená vším potřebným, k dispozici 10l kanystr s pitnou vodou, který lze doplňovat, 2 páry sněžnic, dostatek dřeva k topení. Krbová kamna dodají večerům krásnou atmosféru...Výbornou snídani vám připraví velmi milá a nápomocná paní Beata. Velké plus je soukromá sauna, člověk si ji musí sám připravit pro použití, ale je to velmi snadné. Psi na farmě jsou přítulní....
