Leaving

So peaceful, beautiful setting, fantastic staff, lovely cabin, we are regular visitors and it is always such a chilled experience surrounded by the Dales, what could be better. We visit in all seasons and just had heatwave, great value for money and lots of space

Only Leaving, there is absolutely nothing to dislike

Location, immersed in countryside, wild life- sheep, birds and loads of rabbits. Lodge interiors were superbly planned, with every facility and all to an excellent standard. The bathroom was superb and loads of fresh white towels, all very clean.

We never saw a single member of staff from start to finish. We didn't know that is was a Christian facility, but it didn't bother us. The bed in the main b.room comprised of two small singles and with knees bent I was over the edge.

Location

Great property, very comfortable and warm. Well equipped kitchen. The shower is great. Lovely peaceful location with lots of wildlife on the doorstep. Nice walk from lodge to Bolton Castle.

Lovely spot ideal to reach venues of the Swaledale Festival and go to places I last visited when I was a young teenager

If you are looking for a peaceful break away then it’s fine

Sadly it’s not very comfortable, the leather sofa for 5 people isn’t the best and the cabin was very very cold. The WiFi doesn’t work and due to the location very little phone signal, for some this may be ok but for us it was not ideal atall, the property advised free WiFi but when arrived it stated very limited WiFi which meant we couldn’t even watch a film on an evening. We did ring staff but was told the same the WiFi is very temperamental.

Peaceful,beautiful surroundings.plenty of space outside .modern cabins with everything you need and balcony too.

This was a lovely relaxing place to stay. A beautiful setting with a little park and easy parking. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed .
