Everything was very good; the staff was very friendly, and the facilities were comfortable and clean.

The place is pretty and the location is great, the view is really beautiful.

We arrived at the time we indicated in booking (from 3 to 4) after a long journy , the heat and the sun out are really hard and there seemed to be no one there, we went around to see, no signs as to whereabouts of the reception and the place that seemed like it was reception was closed, we had to just stand in the blistering sun and call them , then they answered and finally the owner came out and opened our number, in the evening they close early and there is total darkness and loose huge dogs outside. The sheets werent new, they smelled a bit of a body odor and pillows had hairs on them. also some ants bit me on the bed.

2ベッドの部屋で予約していたのですが行き違いがあったようでコーヒーの準備をお隣の部屋にしてくださっていて、朝飲みに行く時にお隣に移動するのが少し面倒でした。

We were treated like family. Amazing vista, accommodations, comfort. Thank you Jack, Letitia and familia. Hopefully when I arrive next I will know a little more Spanish!

This motel of little casitas is as charming as described, but with a fascinating history to boot. Jack, the owner, is an interesting, affable and conversational guy who had a vision for his home and casitas that look out over the desert towards the distant mountains. The construction took two years of Jack's sweat and handiwork, using building techniques of the indigenous Pacquime. The rooms are well appointed with beautiful wood ceilings and pine beams harvested from the Sierras. The premises has a little cafe where Leticia prepared the most delicious breakfast of tortillas, fried eggs and fries. The property and proprietor exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend the stay if you come to Casas Grandes or visit Mata Ortiz.
