Luxurious Rural Cabin with Hot Tub

Convenient location, easy to find, and a smooth check-in process. The cabin is comfortable and well-equipped. We took advantage of the breakfast, including coffee, tea, juice, milk, and a generous variety of pastries. Thank you!

Hot tub - they knew we wanted to use the hot tub so we were contacted on 22nd December to say the temperature sensor had packed up. We didn't really want to continue with the booking but our only option was to move to another time, no refund of any description and were looking forward to being away. Confirmed to us part had arrived on 23rd, so all good. We received a call at 1.45 on Christmas eve, just before leaving, to say the hot tub was now leaking and did we want to change our mind. Car was loaded at that point so we just went. On arriving they reckoned all OK but as we went to look at the controls, it was still leaking. Didn't see anyone after that.. Particularly frustrating as reading some previous reviews, they allowed guests to use theirs when previously broken. They just didn't seem to have any idea how to fix the hot tub. Who knows if we changed the date if it would be working then? 2nd point is the TV in the lounge. All app based but so old you can't even watch ITV on it, as it doesn't support ITVX download.. You can't stream off your phone cos you don't know what network the TV is on. The remote works randomly and is so slow. TV in the bedroom is OK but don't want to sit on the bed all evening. Wouldn't have been so much of an issue if the hot tub was working. 3rd point is the mold in the bedroom on the fire exit door and wall. Just not nice to look at. Happy Christmas Christmas morning would have been nice as we were leaving and sorry about the hot tub again.

Cabin was nice and had everything we needed.

Lack of privacy as located in a working farm yard with a 9-5 office next door. Shower would not drain, plug hole full of long brown hair…. Hot tub was a short across from cabin, over mud/grass stepping stones, on a path to and from main farm building so staff/people could walk right past if in hot tub. No where for towels to hang.

Relaxing, well equipped and comfortable cabin especially with added hot tub

Bathroom was clean and great size with bath and shower. We like most things but unfortunately did have issues. Suzie greeted us and helped us get around cooking the pizzas and showed us the hot tub.

Cleanliness of kitchen, in particular dirty plates and microwave. No washing up liquid. Terrible smell in toilet on arrival - luckily I brought loo drops to try and mask the smell. Having to cook using a microwave and use an oven located in a camper van - pictures not clear and showed an oven Too much chlorine in hot tub. Stung our eyes so much at the start they were streaming. Our children were coughing and couldn’t get in. Very disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked and was all looking forward to it. It also tarnished my friend’s jewellery, something we haven’t had problems with when using other hot tubs. Noise while sleeping. We heard what sounded like a loud door banging which happened around every few minutes repeatedly. It kept us awake so we had a very poor nights sleep. Check in 4pm, check out 10am - did accommodate our request though. WiFi didn’t work well. Book may be out of date as it states fridge freezer but there isn’t one. Really there should be. Didn’t see the trampoline that we saw in the pictures, however may have just missed it? Unfortunately we fed this all back to Suzie who apologised and took our comments on board, but there was no explanation for any of the points raised and really on the basis that we had quite a few issues including a terrible nights sleep, it wasn’t good enough and have had to leave this review.
