Loved the cosiness and feel of the place, perfect for a romantic weekend away. On top of this, this place was by far THE best and most well stocked cottage we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I don't think we actually needed to bring anything with us aside from a change of clothes! Loved the bath on the first floor! The location was just stunning. We were even treated to some beautiful, sunny weather, which is a first for us. And finally, our kind host, who was so attentive and caring, even waiting for an additional 6 or so hours after the time we were supposed to have arrived there, courtesy of the dreaded M6 which was heavily congested and caused us to be massively late, and kept in communication with us the entire time throughout that ordeal. Truly a Saint!

I'd say that the only two things I didn't like, is the fact that we weren't able to use the stove in the living room, as we're not experienced match lighters (for which a lovely glass container helpfully supplied us with) but we couldn't get them to ignight without either stripping the match of it's flammable coating or breaking the match in an attempt to light it. Another issue we has, which is a common problem apparently, was that the ceilings were so low, that if you attempted to use the kitchen facilities (namely the gas hob or oven, though I suspect that the oven is the main culprit.) The smoke and Heat sensors would blare and scream down your ears, which left them ringing for some time. But unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about this, as it's a legal requirement. So, I think if I ever stayed here again, I would probably just bring some cereal along and stick to just using the microwave instead.

It was cozy and we liked how easy it was to figure out the lock. We liked the free standing bath and the heated floor. We also really liked how big and comfy the bed was.

The bed squeaked every time my partner moved in the night causing a disturbed sleep.
