"Lovely place to meet up with friends and family. Stunningly beautiful location. It was good value for money."

9.0

The size of the three bedroom cabin was very good and three bathrooms too. The location was terrific and the owners super friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped.

It is looking a little aged. The mattresses and bedding could do with and update. I was told that they have plans for some repairs etc.

"Good if you get a good price"

6.0

Friendly owners, lovely dog walks up the hill, very big lodge, all mod cons. Location of park to Killin is great. Bbq for use. Well organised and clean.

Pics suggested the lodge was stand-alone but it's a row of units all joined. I didn't realise that. A bit dated for the cost we paid and one room seemed damp which might be due to forest location. Check in at 5 is very late.

"Great for all,kids and dogs."

8.0

The location was great, and especially as we followed the directions for a walk down off road past the castle and Loch to Killin, so no need to walk on the road or take the car. The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable with everything needed. Kids loved it.

Slight noise from next door in the adjacent bedroom, especially when the toilet was flushed in the morning, but not really a problem!

"Great location, comfortable lodge (but if you need WiFi it’s not for you)"

7.0

Great location, ideal for climbing Munros and Corbetts. Well appointed comfortable lodge.

No instructions provided for using the TV and I only persuaded it to work for a short time before ‘no signal’ came up. Arrangements for paying for electricity were unclear. I was expecting someone to call with me between 5 and 6 on the day I arrived (as per the message I had received). This didn’t happen. So I waited around next morning rather than. Heading out for a walk as planned.

"Great place to stay."

8.0

Warm welcome on arrival from Glenda. spacious lodge with everything you need in it for cooking and dining etc. Cleaning items and washing liquid, dishwasher and tablets, toilet roll included in Lodge. Lodge has a lovely new kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Showers are powerful and hot. It's dog friendly and child friendly. Great dining area Great location with lots to do around the lodge and nearby. Beautiful location with clear view of the stars at night. Option to have a fire pit with starter kit at additional cost. Lovely meal in dog friendly killin Hotel. We had a lovely time and would return again.

Very clean, but could use a dust around walls and ceilings. Found a cigarette packet behind bedside cabinet when plugging in charger. When you add on additional charges it can become a lot more expensive than you first think.£7 per night for electric. Other electric charges are confusing. £60 for two tiny dogs for two nights is more costly than other places. The same price applies for stays up to 4 nights. Appreciate the dog friendly gates, but won't keep in small dogs as the fence gaps are big enough to get through. Water is boiling hot and could use a caution sign. Here for a two night stay so was a bit surprised to receive a message upon waking up after night one saying you're stay is almost over and a list of instructions about leaving the lodge - checkout time on this message would have been a helpful reminder but was in folder. Not a big deal but made our break feel like it was over before it began. Info folder needs updating as some local info is put of date.
