Sa Sa Lao

We booked for a couple of nights, ended up extending our stay a further week directly with the owners.... even this was not long enough. This is truly a magical place with good food, beautiful location and people. They also offer a free Mekong River sunset cruise and free regular boat shuttle into town. These are both excellent. We also attended the shadow puppet show, we fully recommend this if you get chance. The owners do a lot of outreach in the local community and are genuinely lovely people. We are so sad to be leaving and hope to be able to stay again soon 🙏❤️

La cucina era ottima e la struttura è perfetta per chi cerca un'esperienza autentica, è praticamente un homestay. Nelle stanze ci sono pochi letti quindi si sta larghi, i letti hanno le retine contro gli insetti Da sottolineare la zona relax sul fiume, da cui partono dei traghetti gratuiti per il centro.

La camere sono praticamente delle campane, quindi entra qualsiasi tipo di insetto. Non c'è l'aria condizionata, però i ventilatori ne compensano in parte la mancanza.

C'est un lieu très agréable. Les chambres spacieuses, équipées de moustiquaire, bonne literie et salle de bain/toilette pour les chambres. Il y a la possibilité d'aller en bateau depuis la guesthouse (9h/11h/14h/16h) au centre ville gratuitement. Il y a un restaurant sur place, ce qui est pratique mais nous vous recommandons plutôt de manger à l'extérieur en raison des prix et de la qualité (cela reste correct quand même :)). Je vous recommande cet établissement :)

Uiteindelijk een week verbleven. Een plek om tot rust te komen, iets verder van het centrum maar is 20min wandelen of de boot nemen die zij voorzien. Aangenaam, behulpzaam personeel!
