The Schoolhouse Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Very clean, staff very friendly. The restaurant and bar was outstanding great food & atmosphere. Great reuse of an old building very clever. The Smart Technology used was great in the construction.

Parking is almost nonexistent. Have to park on the street. The room didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave. Missing some of the standard hotel amenities. No bedside lamps one overhead light with dimmer. My wife wanted to read I wanted to sleep so the overhead light was on. The bed was really low to the ground. No ice machine. Had to bother the front desk for ice. They had to go to the restaurant kitchen to get ice. Basically No Bang For the Buck!

The restaurant in the hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were on a specific schedule. Breakfast was not available at 9am as posted. The front desk said the hostess was late for work. The manager or front desk clerk should have been easily able to act as hostess.

Coffee and tea were excellent. The two cookies offered each day were tasty, but not really breakfast food. We ordered the breakfast biscuits, which were tasty, but too heavy for our tastes.

NEEDED counter space in the standard room. NO closet at all! More pegs should have been placed on walls. We expected a queen bed, but got a LOW double bed, which was comfortable.

Very well appointed and comfortable, great location and very cool motif. The staff was friendly and helpful, and tha hotel restaurant, The Varsity Club, was superb!! Awesome stay overall! I am a veteran, that doesn't mean much to some, I never ask for or expect any thanks or recognition. Once they realized that I was a vet though, they really made us feel special, I am so humbled and appreciative, thank you for your support! We will be back!

This hotel was surprisingly awesome. Why more than I thought it would be. It’s unique in a good way and I loved it. I wish we had spent more time there. The rooftop was “icing on the cake”, so Amazon’s. We were lucky that we had fabulous weather!! But nothing could dim the experience of this hotel!!!
