"Eine Unterkunft der besonderen Art"

8.0

"Mountain Hideaway"

8.0

Very serene environment, lovely views to the coast..Small, pretty gardens. Comfortable room quaint construction of wood with a small rather rickety balcony and modern bathroom. Vegetarian meals were fresh and tasty. The staff always helpful and smiling. There are other lodges closely with restaurants to vary the menu.

Four nights is too long except perhaps if you want to zone out and read etc. Most people I learnt, stay only 1 or maybe 2 nights. Unless you are there to climb Mt Bakukaru or forest trekking, there are few places to walk or visit. The treks are quite difficult. I did a day trip to Bedugul and the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, arranged by hotel. Also, the manager, Putu, took me on a motor bike trip through nearby fruit plantations and rice fields. He explained everything very well.
