It was well maintained, nice pool, small and cute resort. The resort is only a 15/20 minute scooter ride to the center of Ubud which was nice, because it was not so busy around the resort. The staff were really kind people.

Our warm water wasn’t working for three days and on one night we had no water at all. We couldn’t take a warm shower one day, and needed to use other rooms on two other days. That was quite annoying. And we had a lot of ants in our room, some were even on the bed which was also annoying.

It was definitely ok. But compared to the service and value we got from many other hotels in the area . It just didn’t show up. The garden is beautiful, the pool was ok. And the staff was a little bit sleepy compared to other stays . All in all ok- don’t order the salads from the menu.

Great Indonesian breakfast, very polite and friendly staff, they go above and beyond to make you feel happy. Pool is beautiful and the whole piece of land is like a magical temple, so much art and statues, Balinese wholesomeness

Prawn crackers a little strange consistency but the rest of the breakfast amazing. I loved the fried banana and nasi goreng. Great Balinese coffee too

The breakfast was Delicious!! I had the same thing almost every morning. Balinese breakfast, Nasi Goreng =). This Villa location is Amazing! Only a 3-minute walk to "Sumampan Waterfall." This Villa is peaceful, quiet and so serene. (You may hear the occasional frog and rooster every now and again, but that's nature =) If you are looking for a place to get away, reset, and be in nature this is your place. I traveled there as a solo female traveler, and I felt safe comfortable and peaceful all 6 nights, March 24- 30, 2024. All the staff is Wonderful! Extremely accommodating and kind. In particular, staff members “Made Jadul and Putu Aris” made my stay so enjoyable. They are always so incredibly kind and helpful, and their English is perfect =). I really needed this getaway. I am So happy I chose this location and can't wait to go back. =)

Nice ground, rooms were pleasant, pool was nice.

Ultimately, Pangkung Carik is let down by a lack of staffing, staff training and no management or leadership. The young guys running it tried their best. But there was no special touches, lack of English. They struggled to clean the rooms, man the reception or give us pool towels. Getting anything was hard work. My read is that Pramana Resort group is just taking an easy cut of profits, without investing any resources into it. No training, leaderships or systems...and no senior staff member. Do better
