Dunmore East Ocean View Suite

Location and scenery in the fine weather was just awesome!!

the staff on duty responsible for looking after us when we arrived was working her first weekend and knew very little about our booking, or the accomodation and was unable to tell us clearly where it was or how we could or could not safely access it. She took my credit card details ( for a deposit ) on a sheet of paper including exp dates and CVV number, and alarmingly left this info lying around for everybody in the golf bar to see, while she was serving drinks and showed no sense that she had any GDPR responsibilites with my credit card details. She then directed us in the general direction of our cabin to which we took our car, as we had luggage, sound gear , instruments etc ............ Nobody ever one told us we shouldnt. We ended up getting locked in on site when we tried to leave and drive off on Sunday morning as "only the workers for the golf course had keys to the golf course gate"........ and they would not be arriving back until the following day. "How did ye get in there ......agh sure ye shouldnt have come down here at all at all!!!!"......... horse bolted and all that stuff comes to mind!! A nightmare situation to end up in considering the amount of money paid!!!! I do have to say..... a very lovely location but one very shoddy run operation! Welcome to Ireland......."go on down over there and sure ye'll be grand"!!!!!

Beautiful views close to beach and village

Bed linen could have been of higher quality as the charge per night is high. For the price per night the fixtures and fittings should have been of higher quality.

A steep climb if you don’t have a car. No soap!

Location stunning with unparalleled views over the ocean and the village of Dunmore East, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and very private

Not a criticism but the location tho stunning is a 10 minute walk to the lower village which has a pub, bakery and chipper and a further 10 mins to the nearest supermarket up/down steep hills so may be an issue for some people
