Imagine two ways of spending your holidays along Amalfi coast: You either stay somewhere far and travel to one of the towns by bus in the day, feeling exhausted by constant taking photos and walking and not having a place to rest, wasting your money in tat shops and tourist trap restautrants. Or you stay in a hotel with an exclusive and peaceful access to the natural and historical wonder of Amalfi coast, having your three meals and cocktails in the hotel restaurant with breathtaking view and super friendly staff, going to the hotel's private beach to really enjoy the sea, nipping to nearby towns like Amalfi and Positano or doing other activities whenever you feel like it. I have chosen the latter one and have stayed in Albergo La Conca Azzurra for 3 consecutive years. This hotel is a gem and I regret not having left a review for the past two stays.

The hotel didn’t pay booking.com for promotion, thus its rating is astonishingly low compared to how great it is

Beautiful views from the hotel, included parking spot, great breakfast. It is nice and quiet unless you have noisy neighbours.

I learned at the end of my stay that going to the swimming area is an extra pay option! This should be clearly stated that you have to pay to swim in the sea right at the check in and at the entrance to the area. Not sure how it is calculated, 2 out of 3 of my days the area was closed anyway due to weather. Walls do not have noise protection, I could here everything people were doing in their rooms, which was a little bit distressing....

We didn't like..... we loved everything! I wanted the visit to be special with my partner Luna and it certainly was. Unassuming Hotel discreetly hidden on the Amalfi coast between Positano and Amalfi. Reviews seemed good, but it was nothing like I expected. Location - Amazing! stunning views from the room with its own covered terrace. Room was very nicely done, not like others we have stayed in for more money. Dining was a beautiful romantic experience with a very good selection of food that was delicious. We met a lovely couple who came back every year, and we could understand why. Absolutely, without a doubt, when we go back to the Amalfi Coast, we will come back here again.
