it’s is the worst experience we had

the pics doesn’t show the actual property. the building is still under construction only, and the pics are from his home near by. the owner did not return the advance money also, and we were stranded in Munnar with a 2 month old baby. also, the property is a bit far from Munnar and no point in mentioning under Munnar location. pls do not fall for the pics, and now we understand we the owner asked for advance amount despite booking.com mentioning pay at property.

Homestay is surrounded by a spice garden with a very good view of sunset. Homestay was minimalistic but facilities were sufficient. Uncle (host) stayed nearby and was very cooperative and friendly. He gave us a tour of the spice garden and other newly built beautiful homestay on the same premise. It was a pleasant stay overall which made our Munnar trip more memorable.

It is advisable to carry some additional readymade food stuff to avoid inconvenience as there is a lack of good eatery/restaurant nearby.

The owner and his wife made us feel so welcome, inviting us into their home for tea and homemade cake. We were provided with local information about things to do locally. The property is purpose built and is one long building with four compact individual rentable spaces all with their own front door and a small outdoor patio sitting space overlooking the beautiful valley where you can watch the sunrise. Behind the property is woodland which you can access via a path. The property is located very near to a village with local shops and a couple of places to eat one of which is where breakfast is served if you take the B&B option, it’s basic but the food was really good. There’s a bus stop one minute away which takes you straight to Munnar through the tea plantations.

Not really a negative, just to be mindful that if you’re looking for eating options you might be best to grab something before returning in the evening.
