Både morgenmad og aftensmad var formidable, både med hensyn til kvalitet og udvalg. Mad og service her stod klart for de bedste gourmetoplevelser på vores tur i Portugal.

Fomos muito bem recebidos. O proprietário e os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos. Quartos muito confortáveis com uma decoração lindíssima. Café da manhã e jantar excelentes, servidos com muito capricho. Fizemos uma prova de vinhos que para nós foi uma aula.

We had an absolutely wonderful 4 night stay, made all the better by the lovely staff, Marlene and Maria were so accommodating, could not have been more helpful as were all the staff. Breakfasts were out of this world and the dining room always beautifully set up with such care and detail. We ate dinner twice and again the food was delicious and plentiful. Our room was comfortable with a lovely balcony. The Casal dos Capelinhos is a great central location for exploring the whole of the Douro Valley.
