Resort Mlýn Karolínka

The staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and very kind. A short, dark haired lady was especially nice every time we met her. She was wonderful, but the rest of the staff was very nice as well. The location is exceptional, also little things like potty and toys inside the room are really nice touch. We even rented a stroller for a little fee. Everything inside the restaurant is centered around kids as it should be in this kind of property.

We didn't like our room - we'd love it if we didn't travel with our 2 year old, but we picked this hotel because we travelled with him. Maybe we were just unlucky as other rooms are different. There were 2 sets of stairs in our room and we had to improvise to make sure the room would be safe enough. I suggest baby gates for the future. There was no AC, so we had to keep the windows open. No big issue, but there was a bee keeper on one side and we had to deal with some kind of nasty hornets a few times. Not sure if technically possible, but some nets or insect catchers would be nice. I was ready to give a much lower score after check in, but everything else was pretty nice during our stay. Cash only was a minor inconvenience, parking was approximately 5 minutes walk from property - not a big issue for us.
