Garden View Lodge with Hot Tub

On arrival we was greeted with numerous fly’s in the lodge, the lights did not work on the hot tub . The carpet and table in the lodge has lots of cat or dog hairs on them . Cigarette burns in the net curtain didn’t look attractive especially for us as none smokers . Check in time and out time was ridiculous. Paying over £300 supposed to be for 2 nights . Checking in at 4 was very late and out at 10 . I think this is something the place should re-evaluate.

Perfect location, Perfect lodge, super clean.

There should have been small chops and sweets. When we spilled water, we did not have a mop stick and bucket to clean it up

Hot tub was dirty and staff had to empty it our lodge was near a bin that had rats and wasps

the large kitchen area and bathrooms for both bed rooms.

the hot tub was great just not all the jets were working.

the lodge was modern, light and airy, but that’s as far as it went! upon opening the door we was greeted with a stale dirty smell, we had to open all windows and spray air freshener. the bed for us was very uncomfortable.We had to clean pans and oven trays before using as they were covered in grease.

we had a big issue with hot tub. soon as I took of the lid I said it looked murky and old water. we reported and it took 3 phone calls over an hour for someone to come have a look, we were told it was fine maybe just needed more chlorine but said would do it the next morning. we put the jets on went to get changed came to go in the tub to find all dirty scum gathering around the sides of the tub. no one came until the next day around 10am, the guy was lovely and told us it was filthy and said he certainly wouldn’t have gotten in “pond like” water! he also informed us the the water is not changed between peoples stays either! now the money this costs that is disgusting! I have had no joy in an actual person contacting me about my complaints, they customer service is diabolical, I have asked for a manager to contact me and also for the contact number for owners of the lodge, because if I was the owner I would be furious that my guests were being greeted with such problems. I saw so many bad reviews about these lodges but thought no I would give it the benefit of the doubt and see what it’s really like, wish I hadn’t bother!
