Beautiful lodge, great hospitality and lovely staff. Breakfast is very nice.Nothing to complain about, clear recommendation. Elgin is not the easiest place to get around by i.e. Uber, but we were given the contact details of Valentine (as a private driver for the day) - super friendly, nice guy and very safe and great driver.

Elgin Country Lodge is a beautiful lodge with amazing gardens -- a relaxing and inviting environment. Lots to do in the area, but the lodge itself is great to just stay and relax. The lounge area is open to all guests. The breakfast was freshly prepared and nicely presented.

Crossing the N2 highway to turn towards Cape Town is quite daunting during busy times!

the lodge is clean, well run,the gardens superb. during the week and out of season not all that much to do in the Elgin/Grabouw area

we liked everything, however we felt that the manageress didn't know enough about the surroundings
