Hotel Anastazia

Beautiful balcony views , huge airy room . Put kettle in on my request . Breakfast was good with homemade jams . Anastazia and staff were amazing , so friendly and helpful , made you feel at home .

We have very good memories of Anastasia and her husband. We had a language barrier and despite everything, Anastasia did her best every morning to try to speak with us. A very endearing woman. Very good buffet breakfast, spacious and very clean room. Very comfortable bedding. A charming little family hotel. Martine and Jean-François (France) 

The hotel is immaculately kept, with very large clean rooms. We had beautiful views from both our balconies. Breakfast was really enjoyable with lots of homemade jams and savoury pastries on offer. Like the balconies, the pool area has beautiful views, with more than enough comfortable sun beds available. Anastazia and Andreas are the consummate hosts. They can’t do enough for you, and make you feel welcome and part of something bigger from your arrival to your departure. They are the epitome of a Greek welcome and between that and the quality of the accommodation it is a perfect match.

Hotel Anastazia exceeded our expectations. This family run hotel is outstanding, we received extremely hospitable service from all the team, the building is superbly presented/maintained and perfectly clean at all times, getting all these aspects right isn't easy, we were very impressed. Anastazia was supremely helpful, she had great suggestions for things to do on the island, and even worked her magic to organise a hire car for us when there was very little available in the area due to the high demand over the summer. The bedroom and bathroom were both good (better even than the pictures) and the air conditioning worked well (this was a welcome relief from the 36c outdoor temperatures), the breakfast was generous and with a great variety, the bar on the pool deck and lunchtime meals were also excellent. The pool was always crystal clean, the pool deck was safe and non-slip and the tiling inside the pool didn't have any crack/chips.

I would have liked an iron and ironing board in the room, but one was available on request so this really wasn't an issue.

The staff were amazing. Anastasia, her husband and son Iannis and another lady were warm, friendly, attentive and helpful. The pool was beautiful and clean; smallish, but we often had it to ourselves! The poolside breakfast was fabulous; a different choice of sweet and savoury goodies every day, plus fresh bread, yogurt, fruit, pastries, honey, juice, luscious Greek tomatoes, cheese, ham, and of course unlimited delicious coffee. No queues! Anastasia's home-made cakes and jams were amazing. Great views from the rooms, over Poros, to the mountains, and over the sea. As a family of four we had a simple suite consisting of two large, cool, air-conditioned bedrooms with a hall and bathroom between them. Two balconies - between the two there was almost a 360 degree view! A couple of tavernas are very close, the nearer one is more traditional (and cheaper). A short walk down to the small ferry port gives a couple more options including pizza. Continuing into central Poros there are more tavernas, bars, ATMs, gift shops, supermarkets etc. Long pebbly beach at Poros, but ask Anastasia to tell you about the hidden beach nearest the hotel! Another well-kept secret is the hotel does bar snacks most of the day and into the evening (recommend their Greek salad!) Easy drive down to Skala for sandy beaches and many more facilities.
