The Land Beyond

The view from the patio is outstanding. The location is great, and the idea behind the complex is valuable.

The room we had was tiny, and although there was a shared lounge/dining area that was comfortable, the kitchen is very cramped and tricky to use to prepare a meal. There are no places in the complex where we could sit inside or under shelter and see the view.

The place is really wonderful and the balcony is a cherry on top! Real gem in this area. The room had very comfortable bed, was very clean and had everything that we needed. The owner is a really passionate and very welcoming. The kitchen and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Don't hesitate to book your stay. We will be coming back there for sure.

An incredible place. If there is a room available, you are lucky. It's an unforgettable experience.  The Land Beyond is not.a hotel, and it's not a hostel. The four bedrooms are lovely. Small, but with comfortable beds, good showers, real blackout shutters and lots of storage. Through the door marked 2sternes is a fantastic lounge area. Go through there and you find a little kitchen with everything you need, including a big fridge freezer. Bring food and drink! There's no shop in Vitsa. The nearest is a lovely mini-market in Kipoi.  Make breakfast and have it on the terrace with the most beautiful views of the mountains. The location is absolutely excellent to explore Zagori. Vitsa village is a great start for several most beautiful hiking trails. On the other hand, it is very quite place. The communication with the host was excellent and he responded to all our questions and messages immediately. Would love to come to this place again.

The kitchenette is in a shared place. It is nice and has everything. It is just not a private facility of the room but a facility for shared use.

Clean quiet rooms, nice beds extra towels available there’s a few trails for a hike starting from the facility, over all great experience. The host was friendly and very helpful.

Warm, Clean, Easy Access, Comfortable

The property is in a very good location and it’s very cozy and warm although the room is very small.

Most of the time there wasn’t anyone available around if you wanted to ask something. Also, I would like to have the option for breakfast, as it’s very difficult to find breakfast in the area around.

The location was nice, vitsa was nice little town. The accomodation has a nice terrace with a great view and even in October sun until late afternoon. The room was small, but clean and had all amenities needed. The shared rooms were very nice, with several boardgames available for the guests. Of note, there is no supermarket in Vitsa or surrounding towns. You have to do your grocery shopping in Ioannina.

The shared kitchen was not very clean and the kitchen utilities were very minimal. There was only one decent size electric hob. Therefore you had to be creative with cooking. We read several reviews that the host was really good and could give a lot of information. However, this is not our experience. In our case, the host was a german volunteer who was not particularly interested and could not advice us on our hikes or things to do around.
