The pool was amazing and the room very comfortable. It was an excellent place to be to rest from the heat. Staff was very nice and helpful

The hotel lies about 20 minutes drive outside of Castel Branco in the countryside. The hotel has 10 rooms that are comfortably furnished and are of modern design. The room and the bathroom were clean.

Unfortunately, there were many flies in the room at our arrival. Luckily we had an insecticide spray with us. The outside of the compound looks abandoned with dead leaves everywhere. The breakfast was garnished with poor quality products (e.g. processed cheese, reconstituted bacon) similar to those found in hard discounters. The hotel being in the country side of the Sierra Estrella, we expected instead some local cheese and cold cuts. As there is no restaurants nearby, we had our diner at the hotel. Available was a limited choice of a cod dish and pork cheeks in a casserole which both were heated. Nonetheless, they were tasty. The hotel has the potential to be an exquisite place, but taken into consideration all the negative aspects listed and the price charged, we would not stay again in the Campo de Rosmaninho
