The neighbourhood is a really great experience. Lovely community and people. The food and hot water were great. Managed to do my laundry for me. When I said I wanted a hair cut, a young man walked me to a local barber which was very kind.

Hard to find for taxis, but worth it once you find it! Humphrey looks for opportunities to squeeze you a a bit, so watch out. That said, I didn't really mind overpaying for food and laundry service, but some people may.

Humphrey, the manager, was wonderful. He picked me up from Arusha airport. He purchased my shuttle bus ticket to Nairobi and he dropped me off for the bus. The room was clean and neat
