Currawong offers you a uniquely secluded experience because it can only be accessed by water. You can take a 25 minute ferry ride from Palm Beach Wharf on Barrenjoey Road, or book the barge or Water Taxi. If you are arriving by boat please book in advance one of the two slip ropes (for smaller boats) or the deep water mooring. Currawong is self-catered and has no shops, please bring your own supplies and beach towels. The peaceful enjoyment of all guests at Currawong Beach Cottages and its facilities is important. Please be aware that between 10pm and 6am noise restrictions take effect and outside noise needs to be kept to a minimum. If you are entertaining in the outside areas please be aware of this or move guests inside. Amplified music is not permitted outdoors so as not to disturb other guests who come here for the quiet. Caretaker’s Cottage is located on low-lying ground, and access may be restricted during heavy rain or large ocean swells. While we’ll do our best to honor all bookings, in rare cases we may need to offer alternative accommodations or, if necessary, cancel your stay. We appreciate your understanding.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.
