Springbrook Mountain Chalets

A lovely, romantic escape is the Springbrook Mountain Chalets. The wild birds that visit your balcony are so friendly landing on your head and arms. Koalas and possums in the trees around you. The whole rainforest atmosphere will enchant you. Nice winding roads with breathtaking scenary. Warm, cosy Chalet with fire place.

It had everything so what's nkt to like.?

It was beautiful as always! Love switching off here and just take in that fresh forest air and listening to the wildlife.. Paul and Sharron are lovely hosts and always greet you with a welcoming atmosphere and warm smile. Almost makes you feel like you're returning home after a long time, makes you never want to leave! This time we explored the local spots for a few hours, such a wonderful place and friendly people.

Not a thing I loved it

The staff were very helpful. We are old and quite disabled, we both walk with sticks. We were helped, having our luggage brought into the chalet and up the stairs into the bedroom. We were supplied with logs and kindling. My friend lost her stick and another was lent to her. The chalet has a bird feeding station on the verandah and the wild birds regularly came to feed, squabble and chatter, tame enough to feed off our hands, leading to great photos. Our visitors loved the birds as indeed we did.. We were advised that should we wish to return to contact the property directly because one particular chalet is better suited to our needs. We loved the design of the chalet, the honey coloured internal wooden walls. It was like living in an upturned Noah's ark.

The lighting could be brighter, at present it is hard to read. I missed that option.
