OZ - Obecana Zemlja Permaculture Homestead

Not sure what to say, everything is magical here the surroundings, property, food. But what makes it excellent is the owners. U have to experience it for yourself!

Alvina and Sead are just wonderful hosts! Their warmth, the amazing work that they do with permaculture are out of this world. The location is quiet, peaceful, apartments are very clean, and you have everything you need, including herbal teas straight from the garden. The breakfast by Alvina was soooo great, the lavender jam is in my heart ❤️ If you are driving by car and your point of interests are Mostar and Blagaj you definitely have to choose this place to stay.

I am only sorry for not being a poet, because this place deserves poetry and not simple sentences. So I will take few of the Hafiz's verses which describes this place a little bit more :) Our Beloved has bowed there knowing you were coming. -Hafiz

There is nothing I did not like. Actually... maybe mosquitos, but they come with nature anyway :) If you use proper tools and repellents, they won't bother you

Gorgeous scenery, we loved exploring the area. The apartment has everything you might need and more, and Esma welcomed us with so much love!

Super peaceful place, in the middle of working farmland, a short walk away from a gorgeous river/stream. The owners are also lovely people, who really care about building a smallholding and community around it — inviting us to tea/coffee, cake, and drinks; and giving recommendations about a local restaurant (Laks- it’s excellent!). The breakfast at OZ was also great; definitely do that add-on! Finally, there’s also a friendly doggo named Grey. In sum, we found it to be a wonderfully restorative escape from it all, very different from staying in Mostar/Blagaj center.

FYI - You definitely need a car to get there and to get food/go to restaurants. Since OZ is just starting and it’s mostly a one-man operation, it might be difficult to arrange full-board.
