Ecolodge Casa del Montañista

Sehr, sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, sie nimmt sich Zeit und unterstützt beim Organisieren von Touren und Taxis. Von der Unterkunft aus gibt es einen sehr schönen Wanderweg zu einer Lagune. Das Frühstück kann man mit einem fantastischen Ausblick genießen und die Betten haben sehr warme Decken.

The pillows weren’t comfortable.

The peace and quiet of the surroundings. The nice walk along the river and fields to get there. The hostess, Eva was extremely helpful and friendly.

The beds are not the most comfortable. The sheets don’t stay put.

Great staff, outside of the city but surrounded but nature instead of noise

What a great find. A few minutes away from the hustle and bustle in Huaraz and set along the river in a beautiful natural setting. Lovely hosts, delicious breakfasts, hammocks, comfy beds, and we received amazing support organizing logistics for our hike. My son fell in love with their puppy and so did I. Thank you!

Beautiful location outside of Huaraz with stunning view of the mountain, the kindest owner, great hot shower and delicious healthy breakfast. We are beyond happy and will come back, thanks for everything!

This hotel is amazing for people that like a quiet place to stay, close to nature, with local and warm people. Eva and Ivan are exceptional and received us very well, they are always available to help and share experiences. It felt like home. The breakfast is delicious and different each day. The rooms are spacious with a nice view. Next time in Huaraz I will definitely stay there again.

The only con is the distance from the city, but there are public transport all day for 2 soles (6h to 20h) and it was not a problem for us. But if you wanna spend the night in the city, could be a problem, or you can get a taxi to come back.
