We just returned from a one week ski trip staying at Hotel Rubino. I travel for work a lot and i'd like to think i have a good benchmark for what good looks like, and i have to say this hotel is absolutely excellent. Its traditionally decorated but very well maintained, its clean within an inch of its life and facilities are excellent for the price point. The thing that makes this stand out above all else is the staff, the service was impeccable and often over and above expectations. The attentiveness is comparable to somewhere like the Savoy or Dorchester in London. If you're skiing the Rodella lift is approximately a 5 minute walk (in ski boots) away and the ski bus to the other stations is about the same. The half board food was solid and there was plenty of choice, you have the choice of a paid for a la carte menu if you want something more elaborate. All in all this was excellent value for money and service and we will definitely be returning.
