Lage

Die Küche und die Couch waren in schlechtem Zustand. Veraltete elektrische Heizkörper deren Funktionsfähigkeit schwer herzustellen war. Enge Dusche. Lauter Lüfter im Bad. Fragwürdige teilweise einem Rätselaufgebende Elektrik. Es waren nur zwei Tassen, Teller, Gläser, 2xBesteck zur Verfügung. Bratpfanne Beschichtung defekt. Zu wenig Haken im Bad. Keine Möglichkeit zu waschen und Wäsche auf Leine zu trocknen.

Cosy, perfect size for 2 adults and 2 dogs to stay. Had lots of amenities and equipped sufficiently. Hot water worked well and shower pressure was good. Glad we chose no1 as it was semi-detached and at the end of the terraced lodge. Hosts were friendly and we saw them around on the property so it was nice to know they were available if we needed anything. We enjoyed a bbq on the first night on the communal bench which had a section specifically for bbq’s. Views were lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, having dinner and enjoying the view. Location was perfect for us to drive 5 mins to the nearest village for a scenic walk and late lunch at the local cafe. We may come back to do the more challenging hikes but we enjoyed our less-challenging visit this time!

-Due to the way they were terraced together, we could heard our neighbours a bit too well. -There was a strong odour (previous pets probably) in the bedroom that was obvious from when we first arrived and lingered throughout. We tried to ventilate the room during the day but to no avail. -It might be helpful to let guests know in advance that pets won’t be allowed on the bed/sofas (we completely understand why this is the case and had no issues to comply) but in hindsight we would’ve brought our dog’s bed with us which would have allowed them a more comfortable sleep than on the floor (our dog has weak joints so has difficulty sleeping on hard surfaces).
