Waterfall Lodge - private waterfall and sauna

Good location for our hillwalks.

Little puddles of water on the floor. Condensation puddles on the windows. Dated decor.

Lodges were in a good location - perfect if you want to switch off

The lodge itself was run down, smell of damp and the furniture in living room needs replaced. Overall, the lodge was run down

Rustige en mooie omgeving, compleet huisje, wifi goed, voor auto eigen in-uitgang, ruime parkeerplaats,

Levensgevaarlijke weg om te lopen/rennen (maar geen geluidlast van), beetje rioollucht van beek, beetje schimmel onder in douche en saunavloer, inkijk van huisje erachter (lamellen sluiten niet goed)

The cabin is perfectly located, with a charming mini waterfall right outside and surrounded by peaceful woodlands. It’s just a short drive to the main village of Killin. We especially loved the in cabin sauna — a wonderful bonus to our stay. Glenda one of the owners is lovely and has the best chat.

The cabin shows noticeable signs of wear and would greatly benefit from some care and maintenance. The most significant issue we encountered was a strong damp smell. Thankfully, we had scented candles with us and were able to keep the windows open for ventilation. It’s also worth noting that towels are not provided—you’ll need to bring your own or pay an additional fee to include them in your booking. Given the price, towel service should really be included.

The location was great. The view of the waterfall was nice.

It’s a bit run down on the outside. The living area smelled strongly of dog. Unsure if it’s because of a previous booking combined with the wet weather but the sofa throws smelled as well.
