Cabaña Coral Azul

It’s one of the few hotels at Playa Blanca Isla Barú that offers air conditioning, although it’s a portable one that doesn’t work as quickly as we wished. There’s a good restaurant for lunch and dinner with kind employees. You have to walk there from the “official” playa Blanca parking lot, but it’s a short 10 min walk.

The strecht of sand right in front of the hotel is short and rocky, making it impossible to enjoy the beach unless you stay in the hotel premises (they offer beach chairs and parasols). You can’t swim too, because of the coral reef. Whoever wants to sit on the sand or swim at the sea will have to search for a spot at one of the (always crowded) neighboring areas. We also thought the room was a bit too pricey.

Lo único malo la falta de presión de agua al bañarnos. Pero es entendible. Ellos no cuentan con agua de red . Pero igual con paciencia te bañas bien

There are some hotel clauses that need to be disclosed before booking, such as not bringing food and drinks into the room. If you pay by card, they add 10%, among other things. The bed has a piece of wood in the middle and isn't comfortable. You need to ask for the room to be cleaned.
