Lake View

We had a wonderful relaxing time at lake view . Jean and Brian were brilliant hosts and the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. A few games of pool in the evening after sitting out watching the wildlife was just perfect . Would highly recommend and will be returning 😃

Everything was perfect

Very easy access to the house; easy parking; extremely clean; friendly host; a welcome pack (food); thoughtful touches everywhere; comfortable beds; ensuite bedroom; great entertainment facilities and a beautiful setting.

Peaceful, tranquil location. Lovely welcome goodies...not needed but perfect touch. Everything was as described.

Nothing really....a dimmer lamp in the sitting room would be nice. The lighting there was a bit bright when sitting around chatting...but great for reading.

The property was beautiful set in a peaceful large garden with a lake and abundant wildlife. We were welcomed by the owner, Jean, and she had spoilt us with bread, butter, home made jam, eggs and fruit juice provided. We stayed two nights but would have liked to stay longer. Definitely one to return to.

Jean has thought of everything so there isn't anything we didn't like. There is a trainline near the property but the sound is not obtrusive and it was quiet at night.

Location enabled us to explore large area without doing lots of miles. Grounds of property are amazing, so tranquil with lots of wildlife

Wonderful welcome from our host. Everything you require from a home to home, even some homemade jam! Setting is beautiful overlooking the lake. I noticed some mention in reviews of the train and the cockerels but to be honest the train was not an issue and cockerels....you are in the country so again not an issue. A great stay! We will be returning soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality
