Great location and views

Bathroom is very small

Amazing location with spectacular views and surroundings. House is extremely well appointed and has all you need for a short stay. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Recommended local taxi (Kat) and other tips were very helpful.

No negatives.

The cabin is peaceful with gorgeous views, comfortable, clean and great proximity to Mudbrick winery.

Cannot name a single downside.

Just an incredible place - 'cabin' is understating it. The views across to Auckalnd and Rangitoto alone are worth the price, but it's the little touches that make this place special: all the fittings are metal where possible, the finishing is exceptional, and the wine is from across the road. It gave our stay a feeling of luxury and care that was beyond the price. It was also probably the best bed we've ever had - it shaped itself to us in a way neither of us had experienced before.

The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the 10am checkout - it's a small space, so it feels like 11/midday checkout could easily be accommodated, especially after a gentle stumble down the hill from an exceptional meal at the Mudbrick. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever.
