Dream Valley Belize

This was a fantastic place. The grounds are well manicred without destroyibg the wild beauty. Food is good. Pool is nice and deep. Rooms are clean and have ac. Wifi doesnt work well in the roons, but if you are at the pool, it works well. It has hiking trails, a pool, and a small putput game. I saw a lot of birds and monkeys. Staff was very helpful. If you are looking for a nice and easy nature getaway, this is a good place. The road is a bit rough, but not terrible.

Food was exceptionally good. Amazingly friendly staff went above and beyond expectations. Comfortable clean room, they opened up the kitchenette between the units for us even though we had only booked a room. Used the refrigerator for cold drinks and left over food. There was a hammock and chairs and table on the porch. Nature all around you with the sounds of the jungle. Saw monkeys and all kinds of birds even a Pygmy owl. There were two pools on the property

Water ran hot and cold in the shower, could not adjust to a comfortable temperature. Long bumpy dirt road, about two miles in to the property. Lots of bugs, you are in the jungle of course, bring lots of bug spray and use all the time. If doing a tour out of San Ignacio be prepared to pay $60 on top of the tour price for transportation there to start your tour. Expensive airport transportation, $300 round trip to BZE.

Love the nature and river that the hotel was surrounding. Wish we could have stayed more one night. The food was good.
