Stoneymollan over Loch Lomond

Our stay with Brian and Gillian was, in a word, magical. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home and took care of every single detail, allowing us to fully unwind. Brian and Gillian are fantastic people who strike the perfect balance between being great hosts and feeling like old friends. The activities and lessons they shared with us were both inspiring and refreshing. We’ll never forget the evening spent by the campfire, sharing delicious food, whiskey, and wonderful stories. We would stay here again in a heartbeat without any hesitation. A true gem!

The hosts were excellent couldn’t do enough for us. Brian and Gillian were great.

Location, accommodation etc was 5 star+ but the family who greeted us as we arrived and hugged us when we left made an overnight break into an experience hard to put into words. Can’t wait to go back with family and friends to share the feeling we left with.

Our stay at Stoneymollan in Loch Lomond was absolutely top notch and authentically Scottish. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of Loch Lomond and direct access to a beautiful Muir Nature Trail. What truly set this experience apart were the hosts — among the very best we’ve ever encountered. They went above and beyond to make our stay special: prepping the wood-fired sauna and hot tub before our arrival, providing rain gear and wellies so we could explore comfortably, and even sharing a dram (or two) with us on our last night. It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, scenery, and genuine hospitality so perfectly. We can’t say enough good things about this wonderful spot — a true gem in Loch Lomond. We can’t wait to come back!

It was perfect, a beautiful lodge and view of the loch. The owners were lovely and friendly. I couldn’t recommend the lodge any more. Couldn’t say a bad word about the place. A beautiful lodge, view and town. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I would definitely choose here.

L’intimité des pods, le sauna au feu de bois et le bain nordique. Bryan et Gillian sont adorables, attentifs et prévenants. Le bain nordique toujours préparé à la perfection par Brian et les délicieux smoothies de Gillian au petit déjeuner!
