Tree Top Eco-Lodge

Super Nice place , bungalows sorroundef by trees, the restaurant bar has amazing view and is situated in the top of the trees which makes it really special

The bathroom had some animal problems, one had a frog cause bathroom roof wasn’t really sealed and another one a colony of aunts . It is to be expected when staying in an natury area but I guess they could clean a little more and some maintenance. That aside for the price and the views and overall the bungalows are very nice.

Staff was very friendly, helped us book bus tickets and provided packed breakfast, since we left in the early morning before breakfast started. Room looked nice. Restaurant area looked nice as well

This was the most expensive place we've stayed during our trip through Laos and Cambodia, but it was terrible value for money at the moment. I feel like they maintained prices from before covid, but our room definitely was not maintained well during that period. We booked one night before our trek and one night after our trek. Both times times there was no hot water in the shower. The first time I opened the tap from the sink In the bathroom, brown water came out the first few seconds. There were many openings between the sides and the roof, so we had a lot of ants in the room and were also visited during the night by a frog the size of my fist, a gecko and some kind of rodent. It's a beautiful place to stay, but definitely needs some work right now.

It is fully immersed in the nature, so of you are scared of finding a spider in your room this is not the place for you! I loved every moment of my stay here, will surely come back and recommend it to anyone travelling to Ratanakiri for work or for leisure.
