Amazona Lodge

Fue fantástico. Una propiedad preciosa, diseñada con mucho cariño. La anfitriona fue muy amable, siempre disponible para los huéspedes, ofreció buenos consejos e incluso rescató animales del apartamento si uno tenía alguna preocupación. :) Me encantaría quedarme más tiempo. ¡Muchísimas gracias por todo! El autobús sale con regularidad y tarda unos 30 minutos en llegar al pueblo.

La beauté du site, le formidable accueil et la gentillesse de Pilar, très à l’écoute de ses hôtes. Le plaisir de ces grandes cabanes très bien tenues ouvertes sur la nature .

À savoir, c’est loin du centre de Leticia (20 minutes de bus, mais c’est très simple à faire), et le trajet vaut vraiment le coup

Schöne und ruhige Lage im Regenwald. Sehr schöne Lodges, super eingerichtet und durchdachtes Design. Pilar die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilft / unterstützt bei Touren wie Nightwalk, Kajak, Besuch Indigenendorf. In der Nähe hat es eine Busstation für den Weg nach Leticia, es fahren aber auch Taxis.

Pillar was a great host, trying her absolute that our stay was enjoyable, which is was. She had good advice and we really appreciated that she spoke some English. Great local breakfast and evening meal with pizzas with local toppings. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We really like that you could get the bus easily into Leticia, which was fab as you had a glimpse of daily local life.

Amonza lodge is at the end of the small village and is offset from the road. So you do hear road traffic and unfortunately we did hear music late one evening. Pillar had good recommendations of trips to do, however there was no information to read or prices shown, so it was a lot of information to take in when you arrived. For the price paid we were expecting a little bit more

Pilar, what an amazing host! She helped us with organising our days in Amazon, she cooked for us breakfast and dinner, every day a different recipy so that we can try different local dishes. The good energy and effort she puts to make the guests feel comfortable is amazing. Overall the rooms are super clean and are cleaned every day. Location is nice because it is further in the jungle compared to Leticia but still reachable within reasonable time (20-30mins) by car

Pilar built herself a little paradise. The „garden“ is beautiful. You sleep with all the animal sounds at night, it’s even more amazing when it rains but it gets really really loud at night, if you need a quiet place to sleep this is not it. I listen to animal and rainy sounds on spotify to fall asleep so it was easy for me. There will also be insects in the house (which I didn’t mind). The shower is spacious. Pilar is a very friendly and attentive host and will organize the tours for you. Just tell her what you want to do. Wifi works good.

Getting there from Leticia takes 30 Minutes through bumpy roads and you need to go back to Leticia for some of the tours. There was no warm water (but you get used to it). The bed was not too comfy for me but I am very picky with pillows and mattresses. :)

Massage was great .

Very disappointing stay. 20minute drive from center. Nothing to do in the area - no hiking trails /restaurants. Very basic lodge . Not clean. The lodge states Restaurant on site - not true. Offered us a single serve pizza for 3 person dinner - no salad / desert or option to order more food - was told “ that is all “. Very loud - music blaring from hosts’ home. Holes in mosquito nets around the bed. Very very disappointing.

Pilar is a great host! The rooms were extraordinary beautiful. A lot of space with two beds on two levels. No fans and AC in the rooms, but Pilar will probably offer you a portable fan :-). It’s nice that you can pay either by card or with cash. The staff can talk basic English, which was very nice for us as we don’t really speak Spanish. Pilar will help you arrange trips (We can recommend Night Walk and Kayak!). Thank you for the great stay!
