For any nature lover looking for an unforgettable adventure, the Hacienda Boutique Santa Rosanna in Santa Rosa de Cabal is the perfect place. It's more than a stay; it's an opportunity to become part of a living coffee hacienda, and Alexandra and her staff truly make this place magic. Waking up each morning to the aroma of the best, pure coffee is an incredible way to start the day, followed by a delicious and authentic breakfast. The living coffee tour is an experience you'll never forget, offering a genuine glimpse into the coffee-making process. The hacienda is nestled high in the mountains, and the scenery is simply breathtaking. You're surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty, from the vibrant birds and butterflies to the gentle presence of cows and horses. This is truly a magical place for a peaceful and immersive escape.

We stayed for 2 nights at the lovely Hacienda de Santa Rosanne. It was truly amazing, it felt like coming home or like visiting family. The delicious food, the hospitality, the organic way of farming coffee. An amazing view over the valley and her mountains, clean and comfortable rooms. Luca and Alejandra are a heartwarming couple running the accomodation, following their dream, passion and love for providing a warm experience. They gave us more than we could ask for and will definitely come back if we have the chance!

There are not many accomodations with this kind of experience, as staying at a Coffee Estate and being able to observe the whole activity at an authentic coffee plantation. Luca, the host, has made all possible efforts that we will remember our stay as a once-in-a-lifetime biotourism experience. You spend your stay at the Hacienda in the middle of the coffee plantations, in the heart of the Colombian Coffee Triangle. The value added is the opportunity to participate in a Coffee Tour, during which the owner presents all the little details about the coffee growing, processing and production, with a coffee tasting as the final part of it. The gastronomy throughout the stay is individually designed and presented in a homy style.

Only the weather during the rainy period in the Coffee Region may stress you out. On the other hand, when the clouds and fog move away, the views from the Hacienda are unforgetable.

There are good hotels, great hotels, and then there are those that make you wish to pause time and extend your stay indefinitely. My partner and I arrived with curiosity, intrigued by how a hotel could achieve a streak of 63 five-star ratings. We left with our question answered, a secret discovered yet personal to each guest. If you're curious, the only way to understand is by experiencing it yourself—book a stay and find your own answer, which will likely drive you to pile another five-star rating and a feeling of nostalgia from the moment you leave. Very beautiful, colorful and authentic coffee finca in the mid of nature with fantastic mountain views. The rooms are cozy, nicely decorated and with a big balcony. Moreover, there is a huge garden and a public terrace. Super lovely hosts where we felt very welcome from the beginning. The food tastes amazing, the menus are all homemade, creative and fresh with lots of local ingredients from the farm. One evening even the Italian host Luca cooked an Italian dinner for us. Vegetarian and vegan options were also not a problem at all and very delicious. The Hacienda offers coffee tours right at their farm. We did a full-day tour with Luca and learned so much about the whole process of making coffee, picked coffee beans in the coffee fields and ended with a coffee degustation. We really enjoyed the local experience and the familiar atmosphere and can totally recommend staying there.

Difficult to reach but the hosts support at all times

Absolutely gorgeous and cannot recommend enough. Beautiful hacienda with their own coffee plantation. Learn about how to make coffee and pick your own. Dinners and lunches are tasty, and Alejandra and Luca are the most gracious hosts and can arrange all your needs. Would love to stay again!

Difficult road up - recommend renting a car and driving slow the last 20-30 minutes up the mountains. But this is anywhere in the mountains of Colombia.
