Being right on the beach

No air conditioning and that some windows didn’t open and no screens on the windows. Little bugs would come at night and bite.

The staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. The property had a warm pool and the included breakfast was filling and delicious. I loved the hammocks around the property for lounging in, napping in and reading in!!

The property was 45 minutes to an hour off the main 21 highway on a rough dirt road. There were two restaurants between 5 and 10 minute drives. Other than that, you need to bring your own food which is totally fine as long as you bring it with you to the resort. The closest corner store is about 10 to 15 minutes away. The ocean was gorgeous to look at but not really swim-able. You could walk in it along the beautiful beach for miles, but it was super shallow close to the beach and too wavey if you wanted to go deeper. May have been the time of year…March.

Stunning location next to the ocean, relaxing and no one about really! The freshly made feast of a breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the staff were v friendly. You can use the kitchen which is well stocked and tables set out for you. The hammocks were a delight to just lazy in and soak up the environment. We only stayed a night and would definitely go back.

Although we knew there was no air con we did struggle on the hot night despite a fan. Inspired by another review we spent 30 minutes at 6.30 am collecting a carrier bag full of plastic from the beach. 🙏🏻 happy to do a tiny bit to help.

the location is beautiful and the proximity to the beach is amazing! the breakfast the staff makes is also legendary!

Isolé, accès par une longue piste mais c’est ce qui fait le charme de cet établissement. Établissement pas tout Jeune, le remplacement des fenêtres qui ont trop souffert de l’air marin serait à prévoir mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé plus que cela.

Totobe resort is incredibly well located, with an attractive lawned area leading directly to the sea. The area is remote and feels completely untouched. The staff running the resort are amazing, and provide a superb home produced breakfast for a small additional charge which is well worth it and strongly recommended. There is also a kitchen and generous seating area for guests to use. Cocos is a wonderful restaurant around 1 mile away.

Owing to its remote location, the access roads (except in the immediate vicinity) are unsurfaced, stony and very uneven. This makes it challenging for self-drive visitors in anything less than a full 4x4. Do not expect high-end luxury (and there was limited hot water for showers ) but you will get a unique and memorable stay - we wish we had stayed longer!

Todo es muy sencillo, pero cumple con todo lo requerido. Es un lugar espectacular. las chicas Maureen, Marjorie y Flory son excelentes anfitriones y siempre dispuestas a dar muy buenas sugerencias, además preparan siempre un desayuno espectacular 😋😋😋
