Camiguin Blue Lagoon Cottages

The staff were awesome! Very lovely and helpful. The food from the restaurant is great and I really like the gardens and the ambience there!

I had a problem with bugs in my bed - not 'bedbugs' but termites, I felt them on my body so woke up and turned on the light they were all over me and the bed. I was moved to another room for that night, and that was okay - but I really wanted to get out of there. I wish I could write a good review because the staff were so lovely, but I must inform my fellow traveller that I can't recommend this place to stay there.

Very relaxing place to stay, surrounded by nature it offers affordable selection of rooms. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The stairs going up to the reception center and the eating place made me out of breath 😅

All the photos are from the first room. We stayed 3nigths and we had quite a problematic stay. In the first room we stayed, the sheets were incredibly crazy soft, I don't know what material are they, but wow🤤 The mattress was also very comfortable, more so than in the second room. The problem was that it started to rain at night  and being rudimental wooden walls as they are, the water got in our room and got wet our things.  We told them and they offered us to change the room to an other identical to the one we were in, so it didn't solve the problem. And finally the manager, Michelle, a super nice girl, changed us to another kind of room with a private bathroom. In the first room we were There was almost no ligth in the room at night, so it was hard to search for anything, and of course forget about reading. During the day also, you would need to have the room door completely open for the light to come in and to be able to see properly inside, which would leave you with no privacy at all. Also the walls were full of holes from which the mosquitos came in. There was something as a "mosquito net" but it's opening didn't fully close and they would come in any way. After taking a shower to fill refreshed, we had to completely cover ourselves in mosquito repelent aand felt disgusting again to sleep. In both the first and second room, there is not much space in the put your stuff in, just one mini table and chair to put and organize our two big backpack. And in the first room, the different rooms were connected by a door to your neighbors, which were not precisely well locked... Aslo in the fist room, there was only one bathroom and shower in each balcony for each floor. And the one in our floor had the lock broken, so we couldn't use it to shower and had to go to a different floor (that made it one shower for nine double rooms).

The scenery of the place is so beautiful for such a price we paid, the garden is very full of plants and well maintained. Internet is fast and the rooms are clean. The food they serve is excellently delicious! Lastly, all the staff are very friendly and approachable. They helped me when my son got sick. The hotel is very family friendly, and this was very important for us. The balcony is also amazing, gives me and my husband romantic mornings drinking coffee, while the kids are asleep. We actually extended our stay from 1 night to 5 nights. ❤️

I liked the simplicity of the cottages, the view, the food and drinks, and the cute cat in the property.

I could hear the noise next door, even the talkings, but it is understandable cos the rooms are made by bamboos.

the toilet is very small, not hot water, I saw some rat in my bet.
