When traveling with dog, please note that there's an extra charge of £10 per pet, per night and is payable on arrival. A maximum of two dogs are allowed with a maximum weight of 30 kilos per dog. We dogs do not accommodate other types of pets. We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Husky any Mastiff or Tosa Access is across our campground which is flat grass. During wet weather it can become slippery and difficult to cross so if your stay does coincide with wet conditions, we'll come up with a plan on the day.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Managed by a private host A deposit may be required at the property.

Secluded accommodation with all the basics you need for a perfect ‘get away from it all’ style break. We loved it!

Absolutely everything. We cannot fault the Hobbit House or its facilities. Theo has thought of everything. He is super friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and very informative. We couldn't believe how good the facilities were or how large the space we had was. The surrounding garden was beautiful and well cared for. It was so good to go back to basics and to be around nature, just what 2 tired NHS workers needed. Theo also provided us with eggs from his own free-range loved chickens, and they were delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Can't fault a thing. My only suggestion would be a wheelbarrow or cart to get your things from the car to the Hobbit House. That said, I could probably travel lighter lol.

"Amazing, peaceful getaway for us both and the dog"

It was so calming and lovely to be there, it was me my partner and our dog and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Such a cosy cabin away for my birthday was just so lovely!

"Great way to escape life for a while."

Very welcoming on arrival and afterwards it really felt like our own secluded spot. There is also little to no phone signal so you really are left alone.

My only issue was the mattress felt exceptionally soft which is 100% a personal issue and not a fault on the facilities.
