"A very enjoyable break"

Jackie the host was very friendly and helpful and had left milk, orange juice, coffee and buns in the fridge, very thoughtful. The property was modern and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. There is a large flatscreen tv. Space for 2 cars. The on-site restaurant served excellent food, there is also a shop.

Friendly welcome at time of booking & on arrival from Jackie who was also very informative. The chalet was fabulous! It was very well equipped, spotless & tastefully decorated throughout. Bathrooms were immaculate. As a family of four the ensuite shower room was a welcome addition. We found that it was a great location to explore, lots to do & plenty of places to visit in the surrounding towns. Lots of leaflets available in the chalet. We enjoyed the walk through the forest at Harestanes up to the Waterloo monument. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the on site restaurant. We would love to return & would definitely recommend No.47.

Great location, lovely host, excellent facilities. A brilliantly equipped lodge, and Jackie was easily reachable if we ever needed anything (which rarely happened). Set in a great holiday park with excellent facilities, and easy top reach nearby attractions in Jedburgh and Melrose.

"Excellent holiday location for families"

Friendly welcome. Excellent communication from host. Parking space. Two bathrooms with showers (I thought en suite shower was very good, and I have high standards 😁). Well equipped kitchen with washing machine (no dishwasher, but that wasn't an issue for us). Clothes rack for drying. Playpark on site. Plenty of sockets. Oven worked well. Large comfortable bed in double room with space for a travel cot too. Great location for visiting Scottish Borders abbeys and the Playpark at Harestanes. Smart TV. Velux roof windows.

Not a negative, but could emphasize sustainable steps being taken managing property. Otherwise nothing to mention.
