The rafting in and out is amazing with incredible scenery. The staff are unbelievable and friendly and helpful

No windows! There are just bug screens on the rooms so lots of critters gets in and it's also very hot/ humid and damp in the rooms. It's very very noisy at night which wasn't great for us. I'm all for getting close to nature but I do like to be comfortable when I'm asleep and not have bugs dropping my head and feel like the thunderstorms are actually in my room and be very hot and humid. Two nights was definitely enough!

I loved almost everything: the nature, the organization, the crew, the attention to the details, the room, the property, the sustainability, the great taste in decoration, the full board, the activities menu, the isolation close to the river. One of my best hotel/stays in my life: it was the most exciting "check-in process" to arrive and leave from a boat doing rafting in a gorgeous place (Thanks Dani Flaco! & Luis for the pics and fun!). I also loved to have the option to shower before go to the airport and have lunch over a boat: all those details... I loved the canopy and the sympathy of Luis as the instructor Dave! The room was stunning. I'll remember this forever, for sure. I wish we could stay for many days, we didn't have time to enjoy the pool and any other activities.

The food flavor could be improved, though the menu options and the presentation was very nice. Some was delicious, some had no taste or way too sweet to finish.

Garden Lodge slightly basic

Very friendly and professional stuff, very unique accomodation like no others, great food and great activities expecially rafting is lifetime experience!!!

It could be more highlighted that the access to the property is very complicated… When you know it, it’s a part of uniqueness, when you don’t expect, it’s quiet frustrating…. Ubiquitous humidity…. I will never got dry:-) Again, for someone frustration, for someone part of the gave, you are on the river… The price - compare to Nayara it’s double priced and it’s really to much… Despite al the negative feedback above, the overall feeling will stay worm in our memories as a part of beautifull Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent. Plenty of activities for all ages and fitness levels. Rafting in and out was an unforgettable experience.
