Access to the forest and Botanical gardens.

The gardens are very nice and there is good forest around. the breakfast was Ok. The rooms are very attractive

The rooms are noisy due to location near the kitchen and lots of talking at all hours. The dinner was the worst and the most expensive meal of the whole trip.

Both the facilities and the grounds are excellent! Spacious rooms with private balcony. Of course, the well established tropical vegetation is a marvel! Meals are excellent. Nice to have the students here with their academic involvement. Quiet, respectful and inspirational! Highly recommended!

Nothing at all.

Stay for longer, there is so much to explore. Comfortable and convenient, a different setting from your regular tourist lodge. A welcome tour with the knowledgeable guide was perfect, Jeisson also kindly supported us with advice on other days. Nice to have 2 beds, good quality bed linen, pillow covers under pillowcases. It was good to subscribe to all 3 meals. The kitchen only provides ready portions at certain times, but it’s convenient when your aim is to spend much time in nature, food was diverse, nothing repeated during one week. You feel a part of the research station team that way. Safe parking, good Wi fi. Dry clothes were ready from the laundry in 3 hours, which mattered when humidity indoors was the same as out in the rainy November. Some bigger hotel feel since there is no one host, but staff with different functions in different locations. Fun reading was tsunami danger protocol in the emergency book of the room at an elevation of 1100m.

A hair dryer and a teapot in the room for this price are seriously missing. Since breakfast from 6.30 was late for a biologist, I almost ate my coffee dry before sunrise. But take your flask with you - coffee and tea is available all day at the canteen from their big termos.

The gardens were beautiful and the birds were amazing.

No hot water. A bit like staying in a nice dorm room.
